What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am many things. First and foremost, I am a golfer. That being said I understand the game, the history, and the purpose it plays in my life. I use the game to improve. Not just in golf but in life. I am a father - golf teaches me patience, I am a student - golf teaches me practice, I am a son - golf teaches me love. I am many things, therefore, I am a golfer.
I have been a student of the game my entire life. I will continue to be a student of the game my entire life. I hope I can help you to find your passion and love for this game and help you on your journey to play, practice, improve, and repeat.
Currently in the apprenticeship program for golf management PGA.

How did you get started teaching?
I've always loved inspiring others and seeing that spark ignite for others inspires me.
I will never claim to be the best golfer, or even one that comes home with a trophy often. But every time I tee off I win. I win because I'm learning, improving, making mistakes, trying. I win because I am golfing. There are no short cuts here. And I wouldn't want one if there was. I try to teach and learn by that philosophy in life and in golf.
What types of students have you worked with?
One thing to know about me is I love people and I love golf. The game does not descriminate. It will chew you up and spit you out no matter what you look like, age, gender, ability, creed, color, preferences, history, status; THE GAME DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU, the game can't be beat. Yes we can win a round or a tournament or a closest to the pin contest against another, but the game itself can't be beat. So In answer to the question of what types of students do I work with... I work with anyone that's ready to take the steps to try, fail, try again, fail some more, and learn, improve, enjoy, and love this game. And hopefully do it for a lifetime with those you love, those you like, and even with those you don't but are trying to like/love.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
July 2018, Carnousite Scotland. The Open Championship to win the coveted Claret Jug. Tiger Woods makes a birdie on number 9 giving him 1 shot lead heading into the final 9 holes on Sunday, with a chance to win his 4th Claret Jug... ( To Be Continued )
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
My advice to a student seeking expertise in golf is to be open. Be open to learning, be open to making mistakes, be open to trying, but most importantly be open minded. As my granny always said. The problem with being open minded is that people can put stuff in it. That's all im trying to do and I hope some of the stuff I put in it will stay for at least a while.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Why? Why do you want to learn? Why do you want to improve? Why do you want to golf? Once you know that part it's all downhill from there... mostly... π
