About
I am a PGA member with 23 years in the business. I am no longer a club pro, I am exclusively a private instructor. Let's take your game to the next level by building the ideal swing FOR YOU! I am not a One method instructor, we will work together based on YOUR natural tendencies. I find this to be the most effective way to get consistent results under pressure when it matters most!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to take new clients through an evaluation to assess their physical abilities and limitations. I do not teach one method of the golf swing. I prefer to teach each individual as an individual. We are all shaped and built differently so teaching one swing isn't the answer in my professional opinion.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in professional golf management and teaching and I also have the Class A membership designation with the PGA of America.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $100 per hour for up to 2 people. I also offer packages of 5 lessons for the price of 4.
What types of students have you worked with?
All types, from beginners of all ages to golfers who play this great game for a living.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The birth of my first child.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure the pro is a good listener and can explain things in more way than one. You also want someone who will work with your natural abilities rather than force you to make changes that don't feel right. With that said, remember that changes in your golf swing should feel desirably uncomfortable.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What it is exactly that they want out of the lesson. Some people want a pretty swing, others want to score well and others want to hit it far or putt better. Those are a few examples but all need a different approach to teaching.
