Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We give step by step instructions to develop the skills needed to safely and effectively ride a horse. If you're a beginner, we have well trained lesson horses to help you on your way. For the more experienced rider we have horses available for lease or purchase to advance your abilities and for higher competition if you choose to join our show team
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Many years in the business of helping clients with their horses, helping them to communicate with them. I help you set and achieve attainable goals to boost your confidence in a fun friendly atmosphere
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$35/hr for ages 11 and over
$25/he for ages 10 and under
How did you get started teaching?
I grew up in the business, my parents own show horses and I saw the need for others to have a good teacher. One who will explain every detail of the why and how down to each flex of a muscle and position of stride, and how they work together
What types of students have you worked with?
All types, but I especially enjoy those that set their sights high!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Get your basics down before going fast! So many ppl try to skip the basics and move straight up to speed competitions. It can be fun to develop your skills, and you will do so much better than those who didn't when you do step up.
