About
Focusing on Horsemanship as well as developing horse riders. Our lessons offer hands on experience in grooming, lunging, wound care, basic anatomy as well as equitation in Western or English riding disciplines. We want our clients to be ready to own and care for their own horses if they desire. Offering Internship opportunities for those who wish to have more out of the saddle time to learn how to care for their mounts.
With over 20 year horse experience as a trainer and rider, I have a unique set of skill I share with my students. From my time training Arabian Show horses in Australia, to Irish Warmblood jumpers in Ireland, to cutting horses here in Utah. Having the chance to study Equine Science at both Northwest in WY and Utah State University, I want to share all I have aquired over the years.
Enjoying the look in my students eyes as they nail down a new concept or the joy of their first ride. I love passing down the passion of working with these majestic creatures. Horses have so much to teach us about ourselves and how to commicate with them. Each lesson is a chance to challenge not only myself as the instructor but help my students find their inner strength.

How did you get started teaching?
After College I traveled working for other trainers to gain more hands on experience. Through that i discovered my desire to pass on my knowledge with the next generation of horse lovers. I worked though word of mouth with friends and family.
What types of students have you worked with?
My program mostly focuses on beginners, those who have never touched a horse before. Since starting however we have students at all levels. Those who are just beginning their horse journey and those we have developed and are ready for shows, 4h, and are ready to move on to trainers in their specialized riding discipline.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We take our students to schooling shows all over Utah County. The group of students get to show off their skills and compete with others of their own age. Its through events like this that they grow in confidence and excitment. Outside of the serious side of shows, we often have group game nights and trial rides to enjoy.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Go do a meet and greet. Watch their lessons and get a feel for the barn you will ride at. Find the horses and trainer that vibe best with you and what you want to accomplish.
