For the established player, I use the latest technology to help the player advance their game. I use the Foresight Launch Monitor and Golf Simulator, KVest 3D Body Motion Sensors to capture the body at 180 fps for improving biomechanics and video capture and analysis. I have also been train by the Titleist Perfoamance Institute in evaluting the body's ability for flexibility and range of motion and how it's affects on teh golf swing. For the Beginner, I have over 30 years of teaching all levels, but have been introducing the game to thousands of new players over the years and know what works and doesn't so they improve and begin playing a great sport better while having fun. There is no one perfect way to swing the club just the best way for you to swing your swing.

I have done everything in the golf business from cutting greens, Director of Golf to running a full country club as a GM. I love to teach and that is all I do now and I love it. More of my profile is on my website www.stgeorgegolflessons.com.
I enjoy helping all levels of players and with every type of stength or weakness. I pride myself on getting the most out of a swing regardless of its' limitations. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to do a 60-90 minute swing evaluation with video in the golf simulator to look at launch monitor data then present a course of action for improvement based off their goals and needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been giving golf instruction since 1985 and have been in the PGA of America since 1991. I am trained in the Foresight Launch Monitor, Certified Level II KVest Instructor and Level I TPI Golf Instructor. I also have an MBA.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing varies depending on programs from individual lessons, group clinics, golf schools and series of lessons that for the more lessons you buy, the hourly rate is less. Special rates for Juniors.
How did you get started teaching?
Began by helping my High School golf coach teach recreation golf classes for my hometown city.
What types of students have you worked with?
From beginners to professionals, from 3 year olds to 85 year olds. Boys to girls, men to women, couples, groups for fun, groups for competition. I also was the golf coach for Lake Erie College in Cleveland, Ohio.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
When looking for an instructor, it is best to find someone that will help you learn the way that is best for you. Not everyone learns the same or at the same pace so it makes the learning process easier and more fun if someone helps you not to take yourself too seriously and laugh during the process of getting better.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What are their goals and how will they know when the achieve them. Any good instructor can tell you what you are doing wrong but the better ones will help you develop your strengths to be stronger and gradually over time help the weaknesses to be less.
