My name is Scott Bentley, I am a credentailed PGA of America Golf Professinal. Prior to golf, I worked Public Emergency Services Managnemt for over 20 years, as firefighter paramedic, somewhere along the way I discovered golf as outlet of enjoyment for time off and mental health. Golf quickly became more than a hobby to me, it transformed into my passion. I decided to pursue it. The game of Golf offers so many valuable life lessons as well as enjoyment, than people tend to realize. I want to share what I have learned along the way with you. I believe that the game of golf shouldn't be difficult and should be enjoyable to all.
I have been a golf instructor for over 5 years, My teaching philosophy is simple and basic. The short game is my sweet spot, If you want to learn how to score, come see me.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with new students my preference to meet with the students prior to the first lesson, review the students goals and desires for the lesson or series of lessons.
Lessons and series of lessons are at the pace of the students request, I believe that the skills covered in lesson 1 have to be mastered before we can move on the skills in lesson 2 and so on. This way the student gets the maximum bennifts from the skills and concepts covered in the lessons, and lessons series. Most lessons or series fo lessons are recommended to be 7-14 days apart.
