I love my students and helping them realize their goals and potential is wonderful, but also seeing them grow to acheive these things is so exciting!!!!

One of the neat things about our farm specifically is the babies! We raise Nigerian Dwarf Goats and Welsh ponies and Hanoverians-seeing the students interact and learn how to appropriatley manage these fun little critters is so rewarding.

Such an amazing place for kids to learn the joys of horses & for people like me to get over their fear. Laurens love and care for horses are so heartwarming and awe inspiring. Shes patient and genuine with the kids & parental nerves alike. Cant speak highly enough about her & SHS.

My girls have been to several places for lessons. But Lauren really knows how to speak to my kids to were they understood what was being asked. She’s hands on and didn’t just project commands across an arena. It was because of her that we now own two of our own horses 🐎 🐎

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

At your trial lesson, we figure out what your thoughts are as far as your riding career- showing? Trails? Just leaning how to be safe and have fun? All of the above is perfectly fine and we do not push the "showing" path on anyone. We do however provide the opportunity for it once the student is ready to do well. Most of all, we want you to be safe and have fun!!!!
