Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First it is improtant to find out the students ability level. Also find out if there are any injuries or physical issues that need to be addressed. Once that has been determined then it's necessary to find out what are the imediate and long term goals of the student. Once we have an idea what direction we are going then we can start building a lesson plan.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a member of the PGA of America since 1987.

How did you get started teaching?
I knew of taking myfirst series of golf lessions that I wanted to be a golf professional and teach this great game.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have had the great fortune to have worked under a great instructor as an assistant and he had great amateur players as well as Tour players that he taught. Because of that I have had the great forturn to have tauht evryone from juniors, ladies, seniors, men from beginner to tour player.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Don't be afraid to see a different instructor if you feel like the one you are working with doesn't communicate well with you. Not all personalities mesh well and it's neither prsons fault. Just be upfront and tell them.
