Are you ready to play better golf?My name is Ron Akin and I am a 27 PGA Golf Professional that has taught/coached golf lessons and clinics to thousands, from beginner to professional Played golf for the University of Missouri-Columbia 1981-1986, qualified NCAA as individual. Played in 2 National USGA tournaments. Turned professional 1986 and played multiple State Opens, local PGA tournaments, and Florida Tours.There is almost always some part of a player's game that can be improved. I provide instruction in all areas and skill levels, beginner to professional.My goal is to give you the tools to become a better all-around player. You will learn to strike the ball better and hit it further and straighter. Lower scores usually comes through a better short game as 70% of golf shots are hit 100 yards and within.What you should expect:If you are new to the gameYou should expect to leave with a solid foundation to start your journey with this great game of golf. You will have a basic understanding of etiquette, rules, the do's and don'ts. You will know how to practice with a purpose, how to evaluate your progress. After some practice, you will feel comfortable playing on the course with others and know the basic fundamentals of the game.If you are an average playerYou should expect to have refinements to your existing technique that will help you make better and more consistent contact, resulting in better ball flight, and longer shots that stay on target.
