Society pressures us to achieve, consume, produce, and compare ourselves to others. These keep us in a constant state of stress and often we feel as though we’re living someone else’s life. I offer two methods of meditation for more calm, equanimity, and trusting in yourself.

1. Cultivate a daily meditation practice. Meditation is a lifelong journey and benefits are cumulative. I am one of 3,500 Chopra meditation teachers worldwide and am humbled to bring this elegant, effortless method to my students. Think you can’t meditate? All you need is a place to sit and 15-20 minutes twice each day.

2. My Guided Meditation sessions are personalized for the outcome you want. That may be stress relief, clarity for important decisions, empowerment, addressing self-limiting beliefs, or anything that keeps you feeling stuck or held back. Guided meditation helps bridge the gap between where you are now and where you want to be. Answers come from your inner wisdom and not from external sources. This creates the most effective and lasting results.

In addition to one-on-one work, I bring element of silence or contemplation to classes, focus groups, and retreats.

I earned a degree in American Ethnic Studies from the University of Washington. This program examines race, ethnicity, and inequality within social and historical contexts. There I gained insight on the additional complexities of class, sexuality, gender, and global and transnational identities, further awakening me to the effects of chronic racism and intergenerational trauma in American society.

    Primordial Sound Meditation

    In my 2-part Primordial Sound Meditation course you will learn an effortless mantra-based method and learn how to establish your daily practice. We will talk about mantra origins, the benefits of meditation, physiology shifts, and other topics to help you understand how meditation can bring your life a little more ease. Our second session is a ceremony when I give you your personal mantra and teach you how to use it. Meditation is a lifelong endeavor and benefits are cumulative. This teaching is for those who want to enjoy their own daily silent retreats and a steady sense of calm.

    Guided Meditation

    My one-on-one Guided Meditation sessions are personalized for the outcome you want in your life. That may be stress relief, clarity for important decisions, empowerment, addressing self-limiting beliefs, or anything that keeps you feeling stuck. Guided meditation helps bridge the gap between where you are now and where you want to be.

    Individual Learning Sessions

    I offer one-on-one sessions based on your needs. We can discuss method or challenges you may be facing in your meditatation practice.

    Certified by the Chopra organization to teach Primordial Sound Meditation (PSM), I am humbled to have learned from Vedic thought leaders and practitioners Dr. Mallika Chopra, Dr. Deepak Chopra, Dr. Sheila Patel, and by the reknowned Roger Gabriel (Raghavanand). There are fewer than 3,500 certified PSM teachers worldwide. I am trained in Guided Meditation as a student of Heather Hayward's Immersive Leadership Academy. I am working toward certication in the Guided Meditation Framework. 

    I have personally trained in Vipassana, Guided Meditation, Primordial Sound Mantra Meditation, Transcendental Meditation, and Mindfulness Based Stress Release (MBSR).

    As a lifelong learner, I follow thought leaders of present and past. I enjoy learning about mantras, mindfulness, the ego, the Self, states of consciousness, meditation techniques, Buddhist principles, neuroscience, and other topics related to the human experience.

    These teachings and traditions are woven into my personal and professional endeavors. Having experienced profound benefits from meditation and contemplation, I believe that anyone can live with a little more ease.

    Primordial Sound Meditation in (2) 50-Minute Sessions $225

    In this course you will learn a mantra-based meditation method and how to establish a daily practice. You’ll learn about mantra origins, the benefits of meditation, physiology shifts, and other topics to help you understand how this method can work for you. Our second session is a ceremony when I give you your personal mantra and teach you how to use it. Meditation is a lifelong endeavor and benefits are cumulative, so this teaching is for those wanting to experience silence and calm every day. 

    30 Minute One-on-One Guided Meditation $75

    These are powerful one-on-one experiences that are personalized to you and the outcome you want in your life. This may be stress relief, clarity for important decisions, empowerment, overcoming self-limiting beliefs, or anything that keeps you feeling stuck. Guided meditation allows you to bridge the gap between where you are now and where you want to be.

    30-Minute One-on-One Session $50

    This is for the content of your choosing, whether it is around a meditation method, support for sustaining your practice, or for experiencing the power of a meditating with a partner. 

    Being a survivor of chronic intimate partner violence, my young adult life was guided by fear and self-limiting beliefs. The cumulative effect of trauma led to physical health conditions, general disempowerment, and a disconnect between my lived life and who I am on the inside.

    That malaligned life came to rest with professional therapy, then a period of healing and self-discovery. I learned to trust my inner wisdom (my gut, my heart, my true self) instead of being influenced by old tapes and external forces. Reinvigorating my meditation practice, I discovered that I could live with more equanimity and peace than I ever thought possible. I was inspired to pivot my professional work to one of helping others have a more joyful life.

    I work with people who want to feel more peace and balance. They may want to cultivate a lifelong daily meditation practice, or they might want a  guided experience to address things that come up in life. Or both.

    A student of mine was seeking positive changes in her life, but wasn't confident that she could incorporate a daily practice into her busy schedule. After taking the Primordial Sound Meditation course, she was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to sit every day for a few minutes. She found herself looking forward to her daily respites. This is what I want others to experience. Meditation isn't about adding more to your plate or struggling to clear the mind. It's about letting be.
