About this pro

Wrestling taught me how to be a man, golf taught me how to be a gentleman.  I offer my experience as an instructor in both.   I have over 20+ years in Golf and over 10+ years in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and submission wrestling.

As a Jiu Jitsu instructor: I specialize in "no gi" Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.  I have extensive experience competing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Sumbmission Wrestling tournaments with tournament victories in 4 different states. My goal is to teach my winning game which is to takedown, pass, and submit.

As a golf instructor:  I can teach you the foundations of a healthy swing and tips for course management.  I even use my skills as a martial artist to teach you body mechanics.  From tee to green, my goal is to make this complicated game as simple as possible for you.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

My job is to inspire growth to realize your own greatness. I evaluate what my students visions are in either Golf or Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I understand the time and effort it takes just to become average at either of these sports and it's a long journey.  I will give you the fundamentals to get you there and beyond with a straight line approach.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

33 years of golf experience, started when I was 5 years old.  Also spent 5 years as a professional club fitter.

10 years of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training with high level competition experience.  4x Gold Medalist.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

$100 per hour

How did you get started teaching?

I've always been a natural teacher. As the golf team captain, I often taught the lower classmen after hours until dark. I teach Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to new white belts at my gym and I enjoy seeing the small wins and celebrating them.  I do my best to inspire and lead you to your own personal victories.
