About
Our goal at Soundview is to create well rounded horses and riders with a focus on the hunter, jumper, and equitation rings. Not only do we take pride in our ability to help our riders meet and exceed their goals, we also place a strong emphasis on horsemanship and involvement in the local hunter jumper community.
I love to share my passion for horses with others. Whether they are experienced with horses or having their first encounter with these wonderful animals. Seeing my riders succeed is a huge highlight for me!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
At your first lesson you can expect a hands on from the beginning. I like to make sure my students know how to properly and safely handle the horse on the ground. We talk about important things like proper grooming, the tack we will use and learn about the parts of the horse. Riding time will give me to opportunity to asses riders skills and come up with a fun lesson plan to guild the student towards their riding goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been riding and competing for 24 years, as well as teaching/training horse and rider for 10 years. I work very hard to continue my education both in the saddle and outside the barn.
