What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been raised around horses all my life, I started riding when I was 2. Born and raised in Texas, horses are a way of life. I have an associates degree in equine science, which includes a horse training and horse reproduction certificate. I have worked on multiple horse locations in Texas. Those include foaling out mares, working for a horse broker and a horse insurance company. I enjoy barrel racing and trail riding with my daughter.

How did you get started teaching?
At my day job I was teaching adults and I decided to start teaching outside of my formal setting. I live helping folks and seeing the smiles on kiddos faces!
What types of students have you worked with?
Very young, starting at 3. I've worked with adopted children who have special needs. Children who have never been on a horse and teens and adults that have riding experience.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Going to the great O'Mok-See gaming show in Hamilton, MT. It was an amazing time with great friends and lots of sunshine!
