FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

We evaluate each person with their specific goals and/or injuries, and from that work towards their needs.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Myself and the intructors at my studio have been trained and certified through Metropolitan Pilates or Pilates Seattle International.  We all continue annually to receive continue education hours, either here locally, within the US or abroad.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Hi Leslie,

An email I received 2 weeks ago:
"Just to let you know I really loved the session we had yesterday. It was really fun and my body felt strong, fit, (and a bit sore!) for the rest of the day and still today. It is a great feeling. I guess it is because we varied the routine so the muscles were challenged in a different way.  All in all, working with you has helped me so much this past year with my back, my fitness level, and my overall body shape. I am loving it."
This makes me smile and so happy every day I enter my studio.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Where they were certified. Were they certified by a classical authentic school?

How many hours were required and did they receive for their certification.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What are their goals?

What are their injuries?

What are they looking for from Pilates?

What is bringing them to Pilates?
