About this pro

I teach mobile golf lessons & instruction and come to the driving range or golf course closest to my clients. While I am a private golf instructor and NOT an official PGA professional, I have equivalent knowledge & experience and playing ability as a PGA pro and have grown up in golf my whole life. I've been teaching golf lessons & instruction over 10 years and taught golf in college at Washington State University (WSU)- I was the lead PE Golf Coach there and taught over 80 students in my classes, and was ranked the best golf instructor the school ever had.

I am very good at teaching and effective, and teach all of the same tacticts, fundamentals and skills PGA pros do. Part of how I know all of this knowledge is because my dad, grandfather, two cousins and 5 friends are all PGA golf course professionals. So I have taken dozens of lessons and taught hundreds of students and accumulated a significant wealth of knowledge and successful instruction tactics to pass down to my students.

I have excellent reviews and have helped lots of kids, adults, seniors, couples and families improve their games. I teach kids ages 8+ and all skill levels of players- whether you're a beginner, intermediate or advanced player I can help you.

I teach driving range, chipping, putting and on course instruction. I also teach businesses for company events.

*I charge the same rates as the Pros, however my lessons are TWICE as long. So you get much more out of your lessons with me because my sessions are a lot longer, allowing you to learn more and get better faster.

Give me a try, I can promise you will be happily surprised and will improve your game. I've taught hundreds of students throughout the last 7 years I've had my businesses and have helped beginners advanced to low handicap advanced players, and I am an elite player as well with a 1-2 handicap consistently.

Helping people and seeing them grow and improve in their abilities and results with the game. It is very fulfilling and gives people a great new hobby they can enjoy.

The one on one coaching is awesome! Really caring and considerate coach, will be returning to sharpen my game! Thanks so much, Premier Golf Lessons!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Learn what their issue is and help them fix it. I do this by identifying the problem, then correcting it. Many times you can fix the students issue by adjusting their fundamentals for their grip, stance, balance and swing.

I also will teach golf to beginners with no experience. In this case we start from the very beginning with learning the fundamentals, club selection, and the different areas of the game- hitting, driving/woods, chipping & putting.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I've been playing golf for 27 years, and teaching it for 12 years. I was the Lead PE Golf Instructor at Washington State University, where I taught golf to over 80 students across 5 classes for 2 years. Many of my students saw great results and my teaching was such a success that I decided to start my own business teaching private golf instruction in 2010, and have been teaching ever since.

I teach kids, adults & seniors at all levels of the game- beginner, intermediate & advanced. No matter what skill level you're at, we can help you.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

There are various prices & packages, all of my pricing is best explained on my website

How did you get started teaching?

Teaching PE Golf at WSU to college students. Also teaching golf lessons to Junior golfers at various golf courses growing up.

What types of students have you worked with?

Kids ages 8+, middle schoolers, high school & college students, adults, seniors, and companies.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I take a yearly golf trip to Bend, OR and play many courses in that area.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Go with a teacher like me that offers lessons for 1 hour. 30 minutes (which is how long most instructors teach) just isn't long enough. It just is not enough time to really get quality time working with someone to fix their flaws or adjust their fundamentals and correct their errors.

Also, hire someone like me. I take a personalized approach for your style & ability, and have great pricing- among the best pricing around.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What are their main issues they are having with their golf game?

Why do they want to learn golf?

What kind of learning do you prefer- demonstrations, audio, etc?

What is your budget for lessons?
