Val did a masterful job of matching her instruction to my needs.

Val is very knowledgeable and her positive influence is inspiring. She is a pleasure to be around. It is always a happy day to have a lesson with Val. You know she will share her wisdom with you and you are going to learn something new every time. For me it means reducing my handicap and having more fun on the golf course.

Val is an incredible instructor. Kind, compassionate and thoughtful. I am a complete beginner just taking up golf at age 62 after retiring this past spring. Im so happy and grateful to have found her. She has taught me the physical mechanics in a way I can understand. As a visual learner she has adapted my lessons to specific things I can work on and explains in a way I can absorb. Additionally, she focuses her instruction on the complete person by helping with the mental and strategic part of the game. As a woman, I appreciate her identification of self-talk and keeping a positive attitude. She blends her roles as a teacher, advisor, life coach and mentor into each lesson. More than anything, I have come to think of Val as a trusted friend because Im learning so much each week. I can give my highest recommendation as she is a gifted teacher!

Along with being enjoyable and approachable, I super-appreciate that Val pays very close attention to exactly what I am doing in my golf swing.

I’ve cycled through various local instructors and travel from Seattle to Snohomish for Val’s lessons because I trust that she’s giving me a pathway to improvement based on my specific issues instead of just following a one-size-fits-all approach to instruction for all her students.

Her ability to see what is wrong with my swing and teach me how to correct it and explain why with reasons from her experience as a teacher and a player. The lesson was fun and informative.

She’s very kind and very compassionate about her students and also very direct! I definitely would recommend this to everyone! I enjoyed it a lot and had such a great time and experienced!
