What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Starting from the ground up, teaching safety from putting the halter on, leading, ground work, grooming, saddling, and tailoring each lesson to the students goals and abilities.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
20+ years of riding in multiple disciplines, competing at local thru state level, with many regional and state championships.

Lessons are $50 an hour, with pre paid packages available for discounts
How did you get started teaching?
I have always wanted to be an instructor, I got to start learning how to teach when I was 15.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Whidbey Island Horse Trials 2018, our 2nd time at this event. I love going to shows, and seeing how our hard work pays off, and we always have goals for next time from our mistakes.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Ask lots of questions, meet the horses.
