I specialize in adult private & Group instruction with players of all levels! As the Concordia University's Golf Coach I have the privilege of coaching Conference Champions on both the Men's & Women's team this past season.

Personally, I have been instructing for the past 30+ years and became a PGA Member in 1989 with a specialized Teaching Certification from The PGA of America in 2010!

My goal as an instructor is to make the student independant of me, so that they can enjoy the game with the ability to return for refresher sessions as needed.

Having students begin hitting shots they never thought possible. It brings great pleasure to both myself and the student to see them learning the golf swing.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I begin by trying to get a solid understanding of their previous athletic abilities and goals/expectations for the lessons. What are they hoping to achieve from a scoring standpoint or ball striking perspective.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a long time PGA of America Member and have been teaching privately for the past 30+ years. In addition I have attended numerous PGA Teaching Seminars both locally and nationally.

In 2010 I attained the PGA Certified Instructor designation, at the time of earning this designation i was one of perhaps 15 in WI to achieve this.

From 1985-1996 I taught for numerous local Recreation (West Allis, Wauatosa & Mequon- Thiensville) in the winter to get students ready for the golf season with indoor 6 weekly sessions.

In February of 2016, I was hired as the Head Golf Coach at Concordia University Wisconsin located in Mequon, WI. My hiring signaled a shift in the schools plan to upgrade the both teams (men & women's) to greater levels of success. Since then we have increased our number of All Conference Players & overall Champions along with too many to list school records from both teams.
