Fred Hancock-PGA has been a member of the PGA since 1990 and a lifelong student of the game. Fred is an award winning teacher having had success with players of all skill levels, and really enjoys working with juniors and beginners. Fred's teaching philosophy has been heavily influenced by some of the greatest golf instructors world-wide. "My instruction emphasis is that the golf motion is a swinging motion and any effort to hit the ball breaks down the proper mechanics and physics of an efficient golf swing." Two of my favorite quotes about the swinging motion are: “The golf swing is a continuous motion at the same speed” and “With the golf swing you should strive for effortless power not powerful effort”.
