What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Meet and greet! Our first lesson will be for at least an hour and a half! We'll have the chance for all of us to get acquainted. We'll share the individual or Family's goals, your background, any and all expectations and really try to get to know one another.
Then, we'll start with an "X-Ray or MRI" if you will, of the students swing! Video recording the students swing from different angles, to really see EXACTLY what is broken or what area may need an ajustment or two......Then we'll move into an overview of a few basic drills to teach the student how and why theses problems exist and use these unique drills to learn how to do it correctly!!!
From there, we will dive right into some basic fundamentals, again using drills to help implement these solid fundamentals!!
Depending on the goals of each Individual or Family, we will then grow together in our ability and understanding of these new and exciting fundamentals, making this wonderful game just a little easier and quite a bit more FUN!!!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In addition to playing "Competitively" for over 45 years, teaching both of my Son's the proper skills to have achieved a very high level of success, including my youngest Son achieving the top level of playing Professional golf on one of the top tours in the World!!
I recently achieved a top level certification for Teaching Golf, from one of the top golf instruction organizations in our Country, The United States Golf Teachers Federation (USGTF)
Part of the USGTF Certification is a Verbal Examination, a Written and a Player Ability Certification. With the decades of playing, learning and teaching this Wonderful game, getting this top certification pushed me into an entirely different class........

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Generally, we'll start with that first hour and a half meet and greet lesson for just $100.00 for one individual student. Also, after each lesson, I spend a good half an hour, to an hour going through all of the video from our lesson! I'll break down some of the key points we are focusing on, send the video, key adjustments and Homework to each student which is always an additional service each student gets with that $100.00 price!
For group's of two or rmore I will be happy to discount a groups price, depending on the number of students, we'll be working with!! In other words, for a number of students or Families I will be happy to put together a nice affordable package, that will make it cost effective and even more FUN for all!!!
How did you get started teaching?
Being a DAD! 35 years ago my first of two Sons was born and I really wanted this little guy to be a Golfer......In 2003 he and his Teammates at Madison LaFollette HS won the Wisconsin State High School Championship!
Five years later his little Brother won the Individual, Wisconsin State Jr. Championship and then he went on to be Wisconsin Amauteur of the Year in 2012 and shortly after that qualified for the Canadian PGA Tour......
Yes, teaching my Sons the Great game of Golf was one of my very best accomplishments!!! From there we began to share our Passion, our Secrets and our Knowledge with others......
What types of students have you worked with?
From little guys or beginners, to just the everyday golf enthusiast.
Quality players with tournament experience seem to be even more interesting and Fun to work with, as getting better and trying to lower ones handicap at that level, seems to be a "finer line" of improvement!
Lastly, State Champions to mini tour Professionals are really a Joy to work with, as their advanced ability seems to be a Quick Implementation of the concepts we may be working with!

Having the Ryder Cup here in Wisconsin!! With our own Superstar, Home Town Leader and Quality Gentleman, Steve Stricker leading the USA to an astounding Victory, will always stand out for Wisconsin Golf!! ⛳
