About
PGA Member since 1989, Certified Instructor & Head Golf Coach at Concordia University Wisconsin.
My goal is to teach students how to swig the club with an understanding of how to improvise while on the course.
I have a LinkedIn profile with over 1000 connections.
Watching players learn to swing the club correctly and hit golf shots that come off as planned! The expressions and excitement on their faces is well worth the efforts.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First off we explore their goals for the lessons. Once that is completed we will evaluate their current skill set and create an action plan for each session moving forward.
My goal is to have the student become independant of me versus relying on me as their only source of learning. As an instructor, my goal is to have a follow up lesson as needed with me versus every year renewal of a lesson package. This approach is different from other instuctors who have a goal of having the same student take additional lessons over and over. I disagree with this as it may not be in the best interset of the student!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a current PGA Member who also completed the entire Certifion Program through the PGA Education Program as an Instructor, Golf Shop Operations, Retail, General Management, Executive Management and Golf Course Ownership & Leasing. Of the 28000 PGA members less than 200 have all of these Certifications. My full time position is Head Golf Coach at Concordia University Wisconsin as both the Men's & Women's team.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I use 2 standards Adults & Juniors for my pricing.
Standard adult rate $110/hour includes range balls or simulator time in the off season. Package available of 3 or 5 hours for $315 & $495.
Juniors are based on age & attention span as to they would be 30 minutes or 60. Hourly rate is $70/hour including range balls.
How did you get started teaching?
Began teaching junior golf group lessons almost 40 years as a young Assistant Professional at Kenosha CC in the early 1980's. Since then I have gone through various Teaching Seminars both locally & nationally.
What types of students have you worked with?
Various levels from complete new players who have never swung a club before to professional & Olympic athletes in the Milwaukee area.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look into both the pricing as that is important, but also the skill set of the instructor, what they include within their pricing vs add on fees, availability of the instructor along with their personality so that golf is fun as it is supposed to be!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I begin with other athletic skills that they have and try to create similiarity for then to reference from a known skill set. This usually puts the student as ease allows them to focus and learn the new skill easier & faster.
