About

Son of retired 21 year US veteran and retired 25 years as a PGA club professional at Spring Valley Country Club Richard "Dick" Singer the second and grandson of one of Wisconsins greatest men to play the game of golf Richard "Dick" Singer the first in the late 1950s to 1979 when he suddenly died of a brain aneurysm. Rich was brought up on the golf course since his father was the head professional and the greens keeper at Spring Valley Country Club in Salem, Wisconsin. He started swinging at the age of 5 years old waking up at 430am (mon, wed, fri, sat n sundays)to help his father cut the greens change cups and tees. Richard began watching n helping with every lesson his father had picking up range balls with a shagg bag. Then they would play golf 18 sometimes 36 and wouldn't get back home till 9 pm. Soon enough Richs swing would be used as a model for his father's lessons. One of the most important things I do is make the game of golf fun. Golf is my life and if you want or want somebody to learn the game or just looking to improve your skills I would love to dedicate my time and skills to be your personal golf instructor

I love teaching the game of golf to all children boys n girls, men n women beginners to 5 handicaps. I enjoy meeting with people that golf or are interested in golfing. Talking about golf, watching golf, dreaming about golf. Making people happy and improving their golf game is my main focus. I have been teaching for 14 years since my father retired from Spring Valley Country Club in Salem, Wisconsin in 2007. Winning all the city and county tournaments by the time he was 12 he started playing on the state's level when he was 13 he won the Wisconsin St. 14 and under championship and also was the overall champion that day. While in middle school he played for Mary D. Bradford high school's golf team. Rich was also taught by two of the greatest teachers in the midwest legends of the game the late George J.Capoun and George "Bobby" J. Capoun from Capouns Golf academy Golf is my gift, teaching is my passion.

Rich is a great instructor, he explains things that beginners understand and can easily work on when he’s not around. I learned a great deal in a short bit of time and wish I lived in kenosha to continue lessons from Rich
