Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

After your introduction to the studio and instructors, we customize your program and experience. Lessons range from $47-$117 depending on your personal goals. Our Thursday night 'Social Practice Parties' are $25 per person. Our Junior rates are $10 per group class and $89 per private instruction.
How did you get started teaching?
We, the Studio Directors, have been a part of Fred Astaire Dance Studios for a collective 25+ years. We have danced from a young age and have a passion for teaching our students. Making everyone feel welcome at our Moon Valley studio, we hope to share our knowledge to you!
What types of students have you worked with?
We work with all levels and all ages! Most students walking through our doors for the very first time, are brand new to dance! We have wonderful Instructors that specialize in teaching students new to dance of all ages.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We host and attend many socials and events throughout the year with our students such as, Thursday Night Socials, Regional Student and Professional Competitions, Social Outings out of the studio. Throughout the year, there are many opportunities with Fred Astaire Dance Studios to get out there and dance.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
We would recommend beginning with the Introductory Lessons to meet your instructors and see how you enjoy the studio. This is a great way try out the studio before making any future commitments.
We receive the question, "What do I wear?" often. We recommend something comfortable yet nice. We recommend a button down, polo, slakes or khakis for the gentleman. For the ladies we recommend a nice top, blouse, skirt or dress pants. We advise not to wear tennis shoes because they tend to stick to the floor. If you do have a country western focus, you are welcome to wear your western wear.
Many think you need a partner to begin dancing. We have many individual students that take lessons as their own hobby. Your instructors will be your partner at lessons and events.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
If you have a specific dance you would like to add to your dance program, let us know when scheduling your first lesson. If you are not sure what you like and what you do not like, do not worry about what you do not know. We will guide you every step of the way.
