What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We offer a complimentary dance evaluation that allows us to find out what the individual or couple would like to learn as well as find out what their ability is like. This gives us a better idea of what package to recommend to achieve their specific goals.

Arthur Murray has been around for 107 years and has developed a proven method for teaching through a syllabus that has been developed and honed by some the best dancers in the world. All our teachers are certified and highly trained to teach anyone and everyone.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Since every student has both different needs and different abilities it really varies based on the number of lessons needed to accomplish each individual goals. Some people spend a couple hundred dollars, some more.
How did you get started teaching?
You start by calling to schedule a complimentary lesson with one of highly skilled instructors. Your lesson can be anytime T-F 1:30-9:45pm or Sat 10:30-6pm.
What types of students have you worked with?
We teach men, women, couples and children. Beginners to very advanced and people who have never danced before. Our students ages range from 7-90 years old. We like to think, if you can walk, you can dance.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We showcase our students in various events in the studio to show off their progress. One of the best ways to see proof of progress is to have our students perform in front of their peers. Since everyone knows what its like to start from knowing nothing to being able to get out and dane in front of a small group of friends they are all super supportive and encouraging making it an amazing experience for all.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for stability and longevity. There are four Arthur Murray Dance Centers in the valley that have been here since the early 1960s giving you the security of long established business as well as the an experienced company that knows what they are doing. We are not the least expensive but we are a professional organization in every way making sure that you will get more for your money with our highly trained teachers and management.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What dances are they interested in learning, how proficient do they want to be, what are their dance goals and why are they taking lessons. Some do it for excercise, to meet new people, to get ready for a specific event like a cruise or reunion, reignite romance in a relationship or simply as a date night. Knowing why you want to take lessons is as important as what you want to learn.
