1.Engage with the student to discover their goals and listen to the struggles that are stopping them from moving forward to their goal.
2. Collaborate together with the specific goal the student has chosen and work toward finding how to maximize their motivation to achieve their goal

How did you get started teaching?
When I finished playing on the LPGA tour I began to teach and then I realized that I needed to learn how to teach... Big difference from being a player to being a teacher.
A tour player turned teacher shared that when you are a player it's all about you. When you are coach it's all about the student. So true..
What types of students have you worked with?
Tour players, new golfers, and golfers that want to improve their game.
Taught golf at the girls juvenile detention prison for anger management training.
Developed junior golf programs for kids with autism, downs, and other issues. Developed and ran Girl Scout golf camps for 5 years.
Developed women's biz golf.
I use golf in many ways to coach you to have a consistent swing, emotional management, personal motivation, focus, goal setting.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Watched my senior student win their first tournament. That was an amazing accomplishment.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Take a few minutes before you go to a coach and write down why you want a coach to help you.
When you interview the coach, see if you feel comfy and that you can be yourself and flow with them.
