Q & A

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I spend a few minutes getting to know the player and what his goals are. Then we make a plan together for his training.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

My background for coaching is an extensive playing and coaching career, along with a desire for the player's best interests.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

The standard price ranges from $85-100 with a substantial discount for lesson packages.

How did you get started teaching?

I began coaching after I finished playing professional baseball.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with players from the beginning of their discovery of baseball to the end of their professional career.

I enjoy working with youngs kids, high school and college players, professional players and men's league players.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I enjoy seeing the success of my players as well as helping them work through challenges. Recently, a player was cut by his high school team and came back to be a starting player.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

My advice to a player (and parent) would be to find a coach that you can talk to openly and reach easily when necessary.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Students should think through their goals, strengths, weaknesses, and commitment level.
