About
I am a native of Phoenix, Arizona and I have been studying and teaching Spanish since 2012. I became fluent in Spanish after serving a mission for my church. I am 100% billingual in Spanish and English. I have extensive experience in teaching and interpreting Spanish to English and vice versa. I have a strong passion for helping kids develop their fluency in Spanish. I believe that it is incredibly essential for students of all ages gain cross-cultural knowledge and have exposure to at least one other culture and language. Spanish is a useful language that can be used in many different situations throughout all stages of life.
I am a college student and I am studying Biology with a minor in Spanish. I look forward to helping you acheive your Spanish fluency goals!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I typically want to know the desired result of the student. I will focus on three specific areas, first in writing/ reading, secondly pronunciation/ speaking, and lastly I focus on understanding. I will change the pace and methods depending on the students prefered method of learning. We will cover any homework or concepts taught in your spanish related classes.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken over two years worth of classes at a college level and I am pursuing a minor in Spanish. I served in a position for two years speaking with Hispanic people from almost every nation in Latin America. I developed a strong understanding of the cultural applications within the language, as well the basic and advanced linguistics involved.
