About
I perform my classes 1 to 1, not in groups (unless a special request), thus all my attention is for one student so they feel free to make mistakes, since making mistakes is a very important part of the process. In fact, it is in these momments where we both are going to get the most out of. Being 1 to 1, gives the student all the chances to ask as many questions as they may have, read, write and off course speak it, all the three steps the right way without feeling the pressure of being seen by many other eyes making them probably a little shy. The whole session is for the one of them.
Besides, and as a part of my service, we will be connected through whattsapp every day from 7 to 7 to contact me with any question or doubt about our lessons, even short every day little translations in audio or text. Off course, answers won't be always immediate but given as fast as possible or in the order they are received.
Another very reelevant aspect is, that classes are personalized, same as service, it will be directly related with the personal goals of every individual, that is why, before you decide if you start or not, we talk on the phone on a free of charge call to let you know how exactly I will taylor a starting plan of 5 sessions, again, depending on your personal goals, then, if you like it and feel compelled to start, we go ahead.
I use my own method, based on enjoying what we do. I taylor, I personalize my lessons to every student based on their own needs. The main idea is to make this classes practical besides fun, to the point that after every session you get something useful for your every day living out of it.
For that reason, before you decide if you start or not, we will have a free of charge conversation over the phone where you can ask as many questions you may have and tell me all about what do you want to learn Spanish for, or why.
Either if you are a Doctor, a teacher, a student, a cook, a dancer, an actress, a fitness trainer, etc. or If you want to do it just for fun, or with profesional purposes.
I focus on your individual goals, but always keeping in mind to do it with integral quality, this is, you learn how to read, speak and write Spanish the right way.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Before they decide if they hire me, we have a free of charge phone call where they can ask as may questions they may have in a friendly and casual chatting to let them feel confortable and at the same time find out and to chek the level of knowledge we are starting from.
We both set up their goal (enphasizing on pronunciation or enrichment of vocabulary, or focusing on certain phrases, etc, depending on their individual needs), then I suggest a plan upon their availability and level of selfconfidence and we start up right away if they agree after clearly discussing prices.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a voice artist and have work for the hispanic radio for many years. I am currently writing a book in Spanish off course and have written a radio soap opera for a local hispanic radio station here in Phoenix, AZ.
I have a bachelors degree in Communications and Public Relations and keep learnig avery day. I know my matternal language pretty well.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Yes, I have an inittial package of 5 one hour weekly classes per 20 dollars each, unless the student wants to do it more often. In case they think an hour will be to long we can switch to 6 sessions of 40 minutes for the same price. That way, after 5 (or 6 sessions), they decide if we keep on going. I want them to feel comfortable, to enjoy what we do, and after 5 or 6 sessions I believe they will know if they want to continue or not since learning a new language takes practice, patience, determination and intention, and the beggining is always the hardest part.
However, after that part, it is so very much satisfying finding yourself communicating in a new language. The world widens up to you seriously!! :)
How did you get started teaching?
By passion, since I was a kid, I used to help my neighbors with homework and to get academically even during summers. Besides, sharing knowledge is always a noble human act that I genuinely love to do.
What types of students have you worked with?
Among my Spanish students are a Cardiologist, a Land Deveoper, A Bussines Counselour, A 7 year old student, a Teachers Assistant, A Car Sales Manager, a Welder, and a Flight Attendant. Huge variety, huh! ;)
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My student, the Cardiologist, after long 12 hour shifts, still has the determination to come home and even being exhausted, she takes my class, and I am very impressed, because this is her third language (and I don't doubt that she may speak more than Hindi and English) and now she is learning Spanish because she has many hispanic patients. I really admire her dedication. She inspires me. Besides, she is a veeeery fast learner!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
To keep in mind that learning another language is all about practice, practice, practice and a lot of memorization as well. The most of the work is on the student because, again, it is all about practice, as much as possible. Part of the greatness of learning a new language is that you have the chance to do it by repeating what you want to learn until yo master it, and then you move to your next target and so on, repeat, memorize, practice, keep it up = then you do not forget and then you are speaking another language!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
In the case on my classes...
- What do I want to learn it for?
- How do I want to lean it?
- How much effort I am willing to put to it?
- How serious I am about it?
