I learned to sew when I was 9 years old. My grandmother was a professional seamstress and taught me the value of well crafted and unique clothing. I designed my first gown when I was 17 and have been designing ever since. I have created costumes, gowns, comfort wear and accessories. I love the process from a concept to the actualization of a design. I have taught fashion design and development for 20 years and have worked in the apparel industry for 30.
