About

I'm passionate about helping people feel great about their guitar playing skills!

In 2012 I started a school of music teaching guitar, bass, piano, drums, voice, and songwriting. I have experience teaching all ages from ages 6 to 50!

I've been playing/performing music for 10+ years and have been fortunate enough to perform for large audiences across the USA, Canada, and Ireland.

I have a degree in music from Pacific Life College in Surrey, BC and have recorded/self produced 3 albums.

You can check out my most recent ep project here at https://open.spotify.com/album/2cIl8yKqJRMvXjToAoFtGm?si=dddJ5qypTwG6RQTvfE6j8Q

Check me out on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/foreignerandfriend

I enjoy good coffee and hanging out with friends playing music.

In 2012 I developed a school of music with my wife teaching guitar, bass, drums, piano, voice, and songwriting. Our students were between ages 6 to 50.

I have worked with young kids just starting out to adults wanting to refine their skills or pick up a new hobby.

I mainly teach beginner to intermediate guitar.

If you are just starting out or wanting to increase your knowledge base of chords, scales, playing styles, or learning to sing and play together, I'd love to help you out on your guitar playing journey!

Do you have your own guitar?

Are you able to comfortably hold the guitar and strum while your 'chording' hand presses down on the frets?

Are you able to practice a minimum of 15 mins to a half hour per day?

What style of music are you interested in learning?

Do you have a preference for learning sheet music or tabs?
