Philip Pilosian Piano Studio

Fostering the love of music and sharing the joy which comes from learning a musical instrument is the primary objective of my studio. Instruction and guidance is provided with patience and respect to each individual who undertakes the journey of discovering the language of music. As a professional I hold both, Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in the field of music and have been teaching in the community of South Pasadena since 1994. Several of my students have gone on to pursue degrees in music at the university level.

My studio offers private piano istruction to students of all levels ranging from beginning to intermediate and advanced. A traditional classical approach is applied to mastering piano technique while simoultaneously developing the ability to read music, interpret and understand music theory to navigate through a musical score of any genre.

Through my years of teaching I have found it very rewarding to witness the musical growth and development of my students. I enjoy working with people both young and old and aspire to establish a professional rapport with my students. It's a joy sharing the knowledge of an art form which can bring so much personal gratification to one's life.
