What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

For a student hiring a teacher, I would have take time to find more information on the teacher, by looking on social medias, and make some research concerning the experience and the teacher background.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

So don't need to ask a question about experience and also listen to the teachers speaking the language that they want to learn. If the teacher influence or not and also to be sure that they can tell the level acknowledge on both sides.
