About
WorldSpeak, based in Los Angeles, CA, is a multilingual immersion school founded in 2001. It offers full-immersion preschool through elementary and middle school language programs in Spanish, Chinese (Mandarin), and Russian, led by native-speaking teachers. Families can enroll children in more than one language. The campus is located near the UCLA Research Park.
The curriculum integrates academics with music, arts, and life skills, with an emphasis on early childhood development. In addition to preschool, transitional kindergarten, and kindergarten, WorldSpeak provides an all-included after-school program, summer camps, and enrichment in music and dance. Its elementary program features accelerated mathematics and chess; the school serves as an official site for International Math Kangaroo, MOEMS, and Noetic Math Competition and hosts an annual chess competition.
Since opening, more than 2,500 students have participated in WorldSpeak classes at its studio and preschool locations and through outreach programs on school grounds across Los Angeles, Malibu, and the South Bay. WorldSpeak also participates in an ongoing UCLA study on children learning new languages.
