I've been studying music since the age of 5, when I started piano. I participated in the Certificate of Merit program, which I completed at the age of 16.  I received a 5 on both parts of the AP Music Theory test, and decided to pursue a Music Composition degree at the University of Redlands. At Redlands, I tested into the sophomore-level Theory and Ear Training III classes. I received a 4.0 grade in both of those classes, and am the first student in the history of the UoR School of Music to test out of every level of Ear Training offered at the school.  I have received several awards in music, including the Improvisation Honor's Re ... I'm very good at figuring out where the student is singing from, and then guiding the voice to a better space for resonance, tone, health, etc as needed. I also help students make the leap from one level - singing with a good technique - to the next level of making music. For me, it's about what's right for my students, and whatever pace is right for them. With violin students, I'm really good at helping them master challenging techniques.  ... View Profile
