I’m Gavin I’m offering drum lessons to aspiring musicians. I’m a High School student and have been playing drums for almost 4 years. My main focuses include jazz and rock. I’ve played with musicians that have toured all around the world and have tried my best to learn from them. I try to teach in a way that students find fun and also productive. I find this helps them stay dedicated and enjoy themselves in the process.

I personalize lesson plans to the student’s interests, abilities and learning style. My goal is to help students build their skills and stay excited and passionate about playing the guitar.

Many of my students are now professional working musicians.

I help each student learn violin from beginner to advance level using various methods. Students also have opportunities to perform in studio recital every year, taking a level test such as CM, ASTACAP every year, competitions, and orchestra auditions, etc. I enjoy helping all my students to grow better violin/viola player and having good opportunities to perform! I also enjoy as a violinist myself to perform with other musicians in piano trio, chamber music orchestra, or symphonic orchestra in the OC and LA area....

I've been passionate about the guitar since childhood. I've worked for years in music production, songwriting, and live performance. I enjoy staying up-to-date with new musical genres and like to incorporate both traditional methods and technology into my lessons. I have experience teaching both individually and in groups.
