I am a graduate of the Hartt School of Music of the University of Hartford in CT. I taught music in the schools for many years including piano and Choral. I also have a Madters degree in Special Education. I meet my piano student wherever their needs are when they begin with me. My most important goal is helping the student enjoy the music and understand musical interpretation and expression. I use theory, technique, lessons, and repertoire. Lusine Shahinyan is the owner of LUSINEPianoStudio in Yorba Linda. She is a professional musician with over 28 years of experience teaching children and adults. She had worked with students of all levels including Conservatory students in achieving their degree in music. Lusine has performed concerts in Central and Eastern Europe.
