I am a native Spanish speaker with formal education both in the states and in Mexico. I earned a Masters Degree in Social Work with a concentration in child and family counseling and a minor in Spanish from CSULB. I have a PPS and substitute credentials. I have 25 years of experience working within the Hispanic community.
My approach is to immerse my students in settings where the focus will be conversational Spanish by living, breathing, and smelling the language and the culture. You will see your Spanish skills florish as you visit local hispanic supermarkets, restaurants and shops through field trips in the OC. You will learn new words and improve the fluidity with which you'll be speaking Spanish.

I love my language and love sharing it with others. Spanish is a beautiful language and as you may know, in today’s world, it is becoming evermore important to be bilingual. I love giving you the extra push to get ahead in today’s world and to get ready for those vacations south of the border.
I enjoy introducing my students to actual settings where you will have an opportunity to be exposed to real situations and put to practice your Spanish skills.
