I have 25+ years in teaching classical violin and viola. I provide music lessons for K-12 students in beginner to advanced levels. I am also a member of the MTAC in Orange County, CA. Additionally, I help students prepare for orchestra auditions, schoolwork, and upcoming auditions.

I have been trained in most prestigious and competitive music performance programs in the world and as a teacher, I bring standards, methods and inspirations I have been influenced about to share with my students. I enjoy teaching music and string instruments for the active listening, conscious practicing and initiative collaboration they help students to understand though music education.

Hello! My name is Jacob, and I have been a violinist for 20 years. I also play the cello (a little bit), Piano (a little bit), and Viola. I intend to give students the same opportunity to excel at music that I was given by my teacher when I started taking violin lessons at 7 years old. I will personalize the curriculum for each student based on their individual needs. The particular book series that I use is the Suzuki method. This is because my violin teacher used it to teach me, and because Suzuki has instructions with pictures on how to hold the bow, stand properly, and hold the instrument with correct form.
