Hello! In my twenty plus years teaching, I have developed a method that's comprehensive while also being highly tailored to each student's needs. I teach piano, guitar, bass, ukulele, theory, as well as songwriting and composition. I love watching and being part of a student's growth as a musician, and have often used my 30 plus years experience as professional musician to help students who are looking at music as a profession. I am a graduate of the Hartt School of Music of the University of Hartford in CT. I taught music in the schools for many years including piano and Choral. I also have a Madters degree in Special Education. I meet my piano student wherever their needs are when they begin with me. Lusine Shahinyan is the owner of LUSINEPianoStudio in Yorba Linda. She is a professional musician with over 28 years of experience teaching children and adults. She had worked with students of all levels including Conservatory students in achieving their degree in music. Lusine has performed concerts in Central and Eastern Europe. She is a winner of full music scholarship and numerous statewide piano competitions.
