My older son started training with Mercadel Basketball in 6th grade, where he learned both the game and the right mindset. A year later my younger son joined too. Coach Henry once said, “At Mercadel Basketball they will learn step by step.,” and that stuck with us. We stayed because Coach Henry has the heart of a parent. He teaches discipline, respect, and resilience, and often reminds the kids that the ABC to make it to varsity starts with Attitude and Character before Skills. Working with Paul was great because of the mix of professionalism and genuine care. Paul always emphasizes the attention to detail, and comes up with creative drills that are both fun and actually applies to in game situations. Lee is truly a great Trainer and I can already see huge improvement in my son’s skills. So knowledgeable and patient. Lee is quick to correcting, direct in his communication and consistent in how he runs his lesson. He creatively keeps my son progressing every week.
