The one thing I have learned about creative arts expression is that it is best when it captures the movement. One thing, the best thing I learned early on, is that life, and life expression is art and that is dynamic. Consider art in motion, like a really good action shot whether it be in sports or editorial or journalistic photography or illustration. Its moving both physically AND emotionally. It moves. Hi there, I'm a mixed- media artist, based on Freestone, which is in West Sonoma. I have a BFA in printmaking from the San Francisco At institute, class of 2000. My process is to collage, (with images I've taken during the 35 years I spent living in SF and Oakland), weaving the photos into compositions which also include gestural painting, drawing and figure painting. I exhibit frequently in San Francisco, and am very excited to my next solo show, which opens Thursday, May 28.

The most unique aspect regarding what I do are the life casting & mold making components. I've been teaching life casting and mold making since 2009 in NYC SoHo, & in the Bay area since 2017. I teach drawing, painting, sculpture, collage & color theory as well and excel in guiding students towards finding their unique voice.
