My passion for Spanish classes began in middle and high school going on surf trips in Mexico. At age 19 I served a two year Spanish speaking mission for church. Upon return I studied Spanish at BYU-Hawaii then graduated with BA in Spanish for Teaching from San Diego State University. I worked as a substitute teacher for the San Diego Unified School District.
