Marc's French Classes

Marc is probably the most patient, kind, and competent French teacher Ive ever met with. I am an intermediate French speaker (took high school and college French) and I needed to fine-tune my grammar and vocabulary and just keep my French from getting rusty. A friend of mine, who is fluent in French and meets with Marc for conversational lessons, gave me his info and I am so happy with him! I gain more and more confidence after each lesson, and what I really appreciate is that he is FROM France, unlike a lot of French tutors. He is completely fluent in English so there is never a misunderstanding within a lesson (we only slip into English if Im completely stuck). I went to Martinique this past spring after seeing Marc a few times, and his lessons prepared me for that trip- and now my fluency is continuing to improve (my French friends even say so!). I HIGHLY recommend Marc Gadelin for French lessons! Im sticking with this adorable Frenchman for sure-

Im an advanced French student, and classroom settings dont work for me. Marc really tailored each class and materials to my personal needs. It was a major plus to find a native French speaker who has so much teaching experience! His prices were the best I found - much better than Alliance Francaise (and hes far more organized!). He is thorough and detailed in his grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary. We used a combination of workbook exercises, reading a novel, and he has an amazing weekly email with tips that he sends to students. Marc is very personable, and hes also great with kids (my nieces loved him). When I went to France this past summer, I felt that Marc had really prepared me for the trip. Highly recommended!
