About
Teaching has always been a passion of mine.
Also learning is one of my favorite things in the world. Even after graduating from College I continued studying all kinds of things on my free time. I take courses at the local City College and online.
Learning something new is not about how hard or easy the subject is. It all has to do with how interesting and rewarding the process of learning is. When your teacher is passionate about what he/she is talking about, you instantly become curious and find a real interest in the subject. My students find that this is true when I teach them, and I see tremendous improvement when they find themselves being passionate about what they’re learning.
I am Spanish tutor with years of experience teaching English speakers how to speak Spanish. I am native Spanish speaker, born and raised in Costa Rica. You will find that Costa Rican Spanish is very neutral and clear, as we don’t have a very strong accent and don’t omit sounds in spoken words. I myself studied English as a second language for many years before moving to California. I know exactly what it is to learn a new language and I am very familiar with all the grammar lingo and rules of my language.
Being fluent in both languages allows me to teach you very efficiently, as I can easily draw similarities between the two languages and can find the best way to teach you the new concepts and vocabulary.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I don't think there is one Spanish learning method that works for everyone, so I'll give emphasis to the style of teaching that better resonates with you.
