Hello, I have been a student of Tabla for over 25 years. For the last 8 years I have taught tabla lessons professionally to students ages 4+ in person and online. My classes include typed notes, and videos, and I offer Tabla sets for rental and for purchsae.

As a student of Tabla for over 25 years, sharing what I have learned is my passion. Tabla is a vast musical subject, that transcends all geogrpahic boundaries. It is also one of the most universal and in demand percussion instruments on the planet. I look forward to starting Tabla lessons with you today!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We'll have an initial conversation (sudents and parents) to assess prior experience, goals, and class format. Once we're all on the same page, we'll determine schedule availabilty. Rental Tabla sets are provided, and purchase options are also available.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have trained full time under one of the world's greatest Tabla maestros (who happens to be my Father) Pt. Swpan Chaudhuri, for over 3 decades. I have also studied with Ustad Zakir Hussain, and have studied music in University as well.
