Founded in 1998, Welcome Amigos is a childcare facility based in San Mateo, CA, providing developmentally appropriate care for students. Beyond just childcare, the center is committed to promoting the Hispanic language, traditions, and culture. The founder, Elizabeth Villagomez, brings her passion and experience in Spanish tutoring to create a unique Spanish immersion program. The program not only focuses on linguistic proficiency but also on cognitive development, mental flexibility, and academic readiness.
