I am a native Spanish teacher, and enjoyed my job, for more than 30 yrs, in my native Argentina, and in US schools, Elementary, Middle School, High School classes and even preparing students for college-level exams.
I have tutored adults with a very rewarding experience for language acquisition due to job needs, traveling and personal needs. Excellent references upon request.
I am a teacher by heart. Never wanted to try any other profession. I am passionate about my language and enjoy the interaction, fun classes for kids, clear and specific curriculum guides for students and great adult one to one sessions, in the target language, with a very innovative approach.
I go to students homes in my area, I have students coming to my office weekly, and I also offer Skype /Facetime classes for further location students. I do domestic, interstate, and even International sessions if needed. Technology helps us to expand our jobs nowadays.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I would first have an introductory free session, to get to know the student and his language needs. They would want to see me and get to know me too.
I think the first interaction gives student and teacher the impression of how are going to work together, evaluate learning levels, their plans for classes, and their availability.
We'll then talk about the curriculum I might need to improve with them, a time frame to learn the basic, improve levels and practice reinforcement.
And the rest is an everyday effort "to make good the better, and better the best!"

I have an international Teaching credential in Education and Language proficiency.
English Proficiency Certificate from the British Lyceum in my native Argentina.
Teachers workshops including AP certificate for High school lever 4 Spanish junior and seniors in LA.
Extensive classroom experience and one to one tutoring sevices in CA.
