Hello my name is Patrick Cook, I'm a professional dancer and choreographer in LA. I've been blessed in my career and have been on tour with artists like Paula Abdul as well as Taylor Swift. I also have danced for Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, and Justin Bieber across various gigs. I'm passionate about teaching younger dancers how to approach the business of dance, help them to develop their artistic voice, and challenge them to pick up intricate choreography. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Begin with discussing what skills you'd like to work on and how you would like to grow as a dancer and performer. Then we just jump in!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've trained under incredible choreographers like Tyce Diorio, Chris Scott, Daniel Ezralow, Matt Cady, Kevin Maher, and many more!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
For the base rate of class, it will be 80/hour and we can work out special pricing for multiple students working at the same time. Since I will be meeting with the student, the student will need to provide the studio to take class in, which I can help track down.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've taught all over the country and even in Canada, running the gamut of ages from 7 year olds to working professionals in their 30s!
