I have been an art educator for 12 years in Boulder and have many different mediums I can help teach. My own work includes drawing, printmaking, painting and sculpture but have a background in many other techniques due to my years of teaching. I have been teaching in Aurora Public schools for the last four years and have experience teaching adults and children. I enjoy teaching and creating being a working artist in the community in which I live. I have had my work shown in various art fairs and centers. I like to work with a lot of different mediums such as watercolor, oil, and acrylic. l am partial to drawing the human face and family members in every day situations.

I’m a really great artist, but not much of a teacher. I can talk you through a really great oil painting session, and show you how to free yourself into a raw canvas and make sense of it.

Every lesson is a lesson for me as well. Im an artist naturally, but painting has been my joy. I teach students in the order i would do it, and let them add their own creativity.
