I offer small, personalized group lessons for every level from beginner to advanced. Sewing has been my passion for most of my life. I studied design in college, and spent over 20 years as a custom dressmaker/designer before retiring. I love to share my passoion with those who want to learn!

My job is to find any means of affordable education about the arts for the youth. Teach not only how to express yourself while creating art that you can profit from, but show you what step needs to be taken to make yourself a successful artist. I have a fine arts degree with a focus in painting. Out of college I worked as an assistant to a professional artist and educator by the name of Carlos Fresquez. He gave me amazing insight into the professional artist life. A view of what it takes to get bids, draft, construct, deconstruct, and everything in-between....

I’m a really great artist, but not much of a teacher. I can talk you through a really great oil painting session, and show you how to free yourself into a raw canvas and make sense of it.

I graduated DU with Master’s degree and have been teaching all ages and kinds of people for 8-9 years. I love teaching nice group of people privately in home and I can teach in all mediums. :-)

I have been teaching in Aurora Public schools for the last four years and have experience teaching adults and children. I enjoy teaching and creating being a working artist in the community in which I live. I have had my work shown in various art fairs and centers. I like to work with a lot of different mediums such as watercolor, oil, and acrylic. l am partial to drawing the human face and family members in every day situations.
